I just learned yesterday of Mike's passing in 2017. I was watching "American Greed" while at the gym yesterday and there was Mike Kessler talking about the Ponzi scheme that he helped bring to light to in 2008. I had the pleasure of working with Mike at the NYS Special Prosecutor's Office in lower Manhattan from 1978 to 1981. I can still see young Mike and hear his voice. He was the nicest guy but you knew he took his job seriously and worked hard. I'm not surprised to see all of his accomplishments. Rest in Peace, Mike.
