To my Beloved Sister Monica, I will love and miss you forever. I will continue to pray as we did during your last days on this earth. I will miss our daily talks, your tight bear hugs and sweet kisses, especially those goodnight ones. I thank you for being a special part of my life, little sister. When I see those cardinals and butterflies in my backyard, I know that they will be those special reminders and blessings that you promised to send me from Heaven. Rest in eternal peace my Darling Little Sister, I will love and miss you forever❤️. You have left a huge void in my heart. I know you’re now resting in eternal peace with our dearly departed mother, whose birthday is today. Until we meet again, Your Loving Sister Annette (Marie) Collison & BIL Lee

Dear Melissa, John, and Christopher,
Thank you for sharing Monica's passing with Drake and me. It was a surprise. I am so incredibly sorry and sending condolences is just not enough to express how deeply sorry I am to know that she is no longer with us.
Monica was my most special sister while growing up, we did so much together. The years shared and memorable times I can only thank God for the moments we have been able to share. Many I hold dear to my heart. When I think of my sister, I remember the scripture Proverbs 31:25 "She is Strong". It felt as though when our Mom passed away, Monica held the torch to illuminate the path for all of us. My sister was the light, the glue, the GOAT, that kept us together. Our funny conversations and crazy line dancing, long road trips to Maryland to visit our other sisters. Monica was always ready to do anything to make me happy. My sister was a humble soul who did everything she could to keep her family together. Melissa & Christopher were her everything extraordinary. Her children mirror the very core of who my sister was. She dedicated her life to you three and prior to her family unit she had us, her siblings.
I have learned when we have become absent from the body we are then present with Christ Jesus. God's house has many mansions and Monica has gained her eternal wings of freedom to dwell in the house of the Lord. I know she is with our Lord because Monica was grounded in her faith. The day I gave birth to my son, she came to the hospital and cuddled my son and prayed over him as only she could. If there is anything I have learned today is that time is incredibly valuable and time waits for no one.
May she sleep in paradise for eternity.
Drake and I send our love and to you all. We extend the deepest of condolences to you.
Hugs, & love, Gail & Drake Fung-Powers

Those we love don't go away,
they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
so loved, so missed, so very dear.
John, Melissa and Christopher,
I am so very sorry for your loss. She is your guardian angel now.
Rebecca, Annette and Jean,
What a wonderful thing you did for your sister. God bless you.
I will always remember Monica with a smile on her face, always laughing.
She fought a courageous battle with such strength. No more pain.
May she rest now in peace.

My heart is full of love for my beautiful sister. I will miss our long conversations, endless texts filled with love, laughter, and tears. You were a strong, vibrant, loving compassionate person, who had unconditional love for everyone, especially Melissa, Christopher, John, your nieces, nephews, and your siblings. You are so proud of Melissa and Christopher, who are your greatest achievements. They have accomplished so much so far and are determined to achieve their goals. They make us proud too.
I admired the way you overcame adversity with such tenacity and fortitude. Your strength had no limit. I thank you for giving us the opportunity to be with you these last few months. Being with you 24/7, taking care of you, laughing, crying with you, hugging you and loving you, are memories and gifts you have given us to treasure forever. Your love of God, Jesus Christ and our Blessed Mother, gave you strength. You always thanked them each day and accepted God’s plan. You’re a true inspiration and for that I admire you greatly. Rest In Peace, my loving sister, I will love you forever.

Monica was sincerely a one-of-a-kind person. She had the biggest heart & a wonderful soul. I never heard her say an unkind word about anyone. She may have disagreed with a comment or opinion of yours but she would never “unfriend” a person for having a different opinion. She loved her family VERY much & always let them know that. She could not have been prouder of Melissa or Christopher & she was so in love with her hunny bunny.
